Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Meagan developed a love for food at an early age, inspired by time spent cooking alongside her grandmother and countless hours watching the Food Network. From the beginning, food represented comfort, connection, and a meaningful way to bring people together.
As she grew older, Meagan began experimenting with baking and bread-making, discovering both a deep passion and a natural aptitude for the craft. Over the years, she refined her skills through dedication, creativity, and a lifelong sweet tooth—always sharing her baked goods with those around her.
Today, Meagan brings a taste of Texas to Central Oregon through Southern Made. Together with her partner, Austin, she operates the microbakery from their home kitchen, thoughtfully crafting baked goods with care and intention for the local community.
